” Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. 10Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another.” – Romans 12:9,10
We have a great battle on our hands to keep ourselves pure and unspotted from the world. There will be many valley experiences along the way of life, but we can be confident that God will bring us through every situation.
God is love and he want us to possess his divine love. This is not a worldly, carnal love. It is not human love. It is the greatest love of all – God’s divine, unconditional love. Divine love is a gracious principle wrought in the heart by God. It would cause us to want to draw closer to God and do good to all man, especially those of the household of faith. This means we should love each other and seek to please one another. The deeper our love for God, the deeper our love for one another.
Divine love does not seek to criticize or undermine. It suffers with others and rejoices in kind. It does not envy and does not think evil of others . It is not human love.
The love of God is the binding power among the people of God. It cannot be understood by those who do not possess it.
Brethren, it is time to possess this divine love so God can bless us accordingly.
“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2
